Since breaking out of Berklee in 1960 to follow in the footsteps of Ray Brown, Jay Leonhart has played with most of the great jazz artists in history and recorded with many of the pop heroes of the last 40 years, from Judy Garland to Madonna, Mel Tormé to Sting, Stevie Wonder to James Taylor, and Liza Minelli to Carly Simon.
